THINK THINK SHOOT……………….SHOOT SHOOT THINK

These six words form a basic philosophy here at Loyalist. We want you to think……….and we want you to shoot. Your education and growth depend on both. The order in which you apply these words is key. The art of knowing what to do and when to do it!

Early on, students are encouraged to slow down and think about what they are doing. So many questions and variables to think about …………getting to know the camera, getting to know yourself, and interacting with people. Why am I taking this photograph? What am I trying to communicate?

In short, THINK THINK………….SHOOT

As you become more familiar with the camera and the craft, you will develop a confidence and a sense of purpose nike air max wright grey. Decisions are made instinctively, arrived at because of a prior investment of thought and experience. Real moments, slices of life……..are often fleeting, and so you SHOOT SHOOT and THINK.. Did I get the picture? What have I communicated? The editing process, and the thinking involved will make you a better photographer and is what will really set you apart.
